FieldWorks, LeBreton Flats, 2006
|
Aesthetically, FieldWorks investigates the imaging technologies of the scanner and computer as a way to expand our vision of the natural world around us. More importantly, this richly detailed botanical and environmental study of an insignificant vacant lot provokes questions about our priorities and values in urban planning and what we identify as important for scientific study and ultimately, for the advancement of civil society. |
